The Dodge Daytona was introduced in 1984 as a mid-size sports car. The longest wheelbase of the Daytona was introduced in the 1990 model year.

1991[]

The IROC trim level with a V6 engine was introduced in 1991.

1992[]

The IROC R/T first went on sale as a 1992 model.

1993[]

Not many changes occurred for 1993. The last Daytonas were produced in February 1993, and the sports car had no replacements for one model year until the Avenger was unveiled in 1994 as a 1995 model.
