The Corrado was Volkswagen's only 2-door coupe for the 1990s. New for 1990 with a 1.8L supercharged "G-Lader" I4 with 158 hp.
1992[edit | edit source]
A new SLC coupe with VWs 2.8L "narrow angle" VR6 was added to Volkswagen's lineup in 1992.
1993[edit | edit source]
The base coupe was discontinued, and now only the SLC remained, with a 2.8-liter VR6 engine.
1994[edit | edit source]
After the 1994 model year, no more 2-door coupes were produced in the United States from Volkswagen.
