Volvo S80

In 1998, the Volvo S80 sedan replaced the S90 and V90 as Volvo's top-of-the-line model.

In comparison to the old S90, the engine was given 20 more horsepower, from 181 to 201. A new T6 Turbo was also available alongside the base model, with a 2.8-liter 6-cylinder engine and 268 horsepower.
